In order to make effective representation on behalf of race equality organisation we must maintain links at national level with organisations that are most likely to have an impact on our work. In the past, we had close links with the Commission for Racial Equality and Home Office.

Currently, we are hoping to develop strong relationships with the Equality and Human Right Commission, the Department for Communities and Local Government, the Equalities Office, and the Home Office, endeavouring to meet commissioners and senior staff on a regular basis.

At regional level, our members also retain links with the Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly, and Government Offices and Development Agencies.
